The awards for 2010 were announced on the evening of 13th January 2011at the annual Pure107.8FM Awards Party.

Best One Off Interview or Package


Winner: Rock and Roll Legends - Paul James

for his insightful and warm interview with Rock n' Roll legend Gerry Marsden.

Shortlist:

* Anika Aarons - Report on the proposed Offerton School Closure.

* Tom Woodward - Interview on Way Back Grooves with iconic DJ Norman Jay.

Going The Extra Mile

Winner: Pete Levene & June Somekh 

for completing the Relay For Life, 24 hour sponsored walk and ride.

Shortlist:

* Stephen Bowyer for producing Under The Rainbow and coaching and developing the Rainbow team.

* Kay Whyld for covering the election night count at Stockport Town Hall until 4am.

* Keith Coates for phoning through his Stockport District Sunday League report from his hospital bed.
