Every Sunday night at 10pm Martin and Tom bring you Sunshine Underground. From our secret underground lair in Stockport (OK it's PURE 107.8FM) we trawl the seven seas of music to bring you all kinds of musical treats. We play what we love and love what we play; be it alt indie, alt country, Americana, folk, anti-folk, psych-folk, post-hardcore, punk, post-punk and even grunge grass.
With a brand new featured album every week, see our Myspace page for an up to date list. Cracking features like Last Exit to Brooklyn and the 'Champions League Song-off' there's all kinds of musical mayhem in every show. In the 'Tom Tom Club' I even let Tom pick a song every week. Could be anything from 30 year old Krautrock from Can to influential post-punk like The Dismemberment Plan, you never know...
