Six candidates will stand in the North Reddish By-Election in Stockport on Thursday 23rd July.
The candidates standing in the by-election are as follows:
Brenda Bates (Independent)
Paul Bennett (British National Party)
Norman Beverley (Liberal Democrat)
Gareth Butler (Conservative Party)
Gerald Price (UK Independence Party)
David Wilson (Labour Party)
The by-election is being held following the death of Councillor David Owen.

Beacon Counselling
There’s an award winning counselling service based in Bramhall called Beacon Counselling which has, in the last few years, set up a service specifically for young people. Pure’s Emily Smallman spoke to Manager, James Harper and Counsellor Yvonne Shelmerdine about Beacon and the help they provide (listen here part 1 and part 2).
