Active Stockport
There are hundreds of ways to get active in Stockport!
Government guidelines recommend that adults do a minimum of 30 minutes moderate-intensity physical activity, 5 days a week. At least three of the 30 minutes should include a sport or recreational activity. This can include recreational walking or cycling, a gym workout, team sport, jogging or any moderate-intensity sport or recreational activity that raises your breathing rate.
Stockport's many parks and leisure facilities are the ideal place to take that first step to achieving your 5 x 30 minutes per week.
Listen to Pure 107.8FM to find out about different activities that can help you to stay active.
